Well, theres the sketch place and this place. I hardly think some of what I can do should be limited to the sketch oekaki. eing all proud and bleh....
Anywho, sorry for heavy Chiaroscuro. It's acctualy the first time I have tried such a style. And no, it's not hiding any anatomy mistakes. I can go back and remove some layers and upload it to FurAffinity and send a link for anyone who wishes to see whats behind the fog.
Also, I understand if you beleive the anatomy may be a bit skewed. That is because this is a crux. Here is a screenshot of an avitar on SL with the correct anatomy for a crux. I did modify it a it myself in this drawing to e less... skinny and big-headed.

Anywho, I will be doing a human for my second tryout. Just somthing to look forward to. (psst, this picture here is my online persona, furry anyways)

Also; made pulic for crit.

Also forgot to mention that crux are genderless. O.O Thats why there are no "parts".

You could use some shading, I think. All I see is this vague airbrushy sort of pillow shading that doesn't do a good job of defining any of the features or even the fur itself. They're furry but the shading doesn't back this up at all (it makes the character look smooth instead of fluffy). I'm not sure if this is just the "fog" or shading even, which is another problem. Definitely try to add some solid shading to your next try out. May I also suggest not to use black to shade? It contrasts a lot better when you use an actual color that's darker than the base. It doesn't necessarily have to be an exact darker shade of the base color either, sometimes it's even better to put a tint of something else in there.

Also, you have a lot of colors bleeding through the lines, which just looks messy. Color bleeding can work with the right kind of composition, but it's not working here--it feels more like a mistake.

this looks pretty messy, but i can't redline or critique furry anatomy because i don't know anything about it...

there are parts of your comment that come off as overly defensive, though. just sayin'

Yeah, not trying to be defensive. I ust realised fter I drew this that I shouldn't have pichked somthing with weird anatomy. :(
Thanks for the tips though. I was thinking last night that I havnt been on oekaki in forever and it's very different than Photoshop and Sai. So even if I got good reveiws I was going to stick to sketch for a while still. Especialy because I tend to get really bored halfway through things. Also, looking at archived things, my skill level is still quite below where I would like it to be.
I'll come back at a later date though. And again thank you for the tips I have gotten so far.

Oh, and I'll leve it here because I really enjoy getting crit, especialy as a developing artist.
