wall of text!!!!! soo sorry XD

main thing that bugs me is the tail. it's kinda coming out of her.. butt .Remember, that tails are an extension of the spine

Your anatomy is pretty good overall but it really lacks in some places, her right arm pointing away from us seems to be lacking an elbow, making it look very short. It'd really help to sketch out some of the larger muscles in the arm for this to make it look more anatomy correct. Her hand on the said arm should also smaller since it is farther away from us.
I wasn't able to find a very good reference.. but I hope this helps:

I would also like to see more indepth shading, the such light shading makes it difficult for me to pinpoint the light source. She also lacks a shadow on the ground. What areas do you think would carry the most shadows?

Pinpoint where the shadows are the heaviest and compare the difference in color to where there are highlights. See the strong contrast? Compare the shading there to yours. It's always important to have strong shading to make the image more realistic, and overall more appealing. For practice I'd reccomend drawing from life. Try traditionally drawing one of your shirt/pants/etcs unfolded, and try your best to capture all of the darkest shadows. For more of a challenge put a light source above it! maybe from your window or a lamp. :O maybe also try different kinds of techniques to shade like hatching??

Shading can also help define texture. I'm not seeing much right now variety, especially considering it was colored in a sort've paintery feel. if you were to draw hair, sand, and water, would you draw it all the same way? o.O noooo. Before tackling something i'm are not very experiences on, i ALWAYS look up references to observe the texture, how what technique i will be using to really bring out the texture. Right now I reccomend experimenting more with the way you color (pencil, watercolor, airbrush). You'd be surprised at how much you learn! maybe you'll find a technique that really suits u

GL, i applaud you for trying to draw such a difficult pose :D i look forward to your 2nd!

Great tryout.
If you made it a public image I could redline :) I'm not too good with wordy crits.

There are some anatomical issues... i would like to redline because i simply cannot explain them lol
